Updated Options for Family Photo Sessions

Are you wondering which family photo session is right for your family? If so, below is a quick write-up to help you decide:
Grand Family Sessions - are one-hour in length. I recommend Grand family sessions when:
Posed shots in addition to candid shots are wanted. One-hour allows plenty of time to get the picture perfect shots in addition to natural/candid photos. The photo gallery consists of roughly 60+ photos with plenty of variety.
You have 5 or more family members. With larger families, I like to take multiple shots of the entire family with different backdrops, a siblings photo, mom with children, dad with children, individuals of each child, and then mom with each child, and dad with each child, in addition to candid shots of everyone. With all of these types of shots, an hour is ideal.
Your children take time to warm up. Some children need to get comfortable with me before their true personalities open up and can be captured.
When you want the family session to take place at a specific location more than 15 miles from Wheaton, IL. Note, Mini Family Sessions take place near Wheaton, IL.

Standard Family Sessions - are 40-minutes in length. Similar to above, I recommend a Standard Family Session when:
Posed shots in addition to candid shots are wanted. 40-minutes allows for dynamic backgrounds and variety in photos as we will move around at the location. The photo gallery consists of roughly 35+ photos with plenty of variety.
You have 3-5 family members.
You want more photos with greater variety than a mini family session would result in.
When you want the family session to take place at a specific location more than 15 miles from Wheaton, IL. Note, Mini Family Sessions take place near Wheaton, IL.
Mini Family Sessions - are 20-minutes in length and recommend when:
You are OK without having posed family shots and desire more natural/candid images.
Your family has recently had photos taken (from a newborn session, baby session or child session) and want just a few updated family portraits. Note, you choose 10 images from a gallery of 25-30 images. The additional gallery can be purchased separately.
Your family is smaller in size (meaning 1 to 2 children).
You just want a few updated family photos.

Fall Family Photo Sessions
You may have seen through social media that I am expecting late summer (my due date is 9/2 to be exact) so I will be on maternity leave for a bit and will pick back up mid-October. At that point and for the rest of 2019 I will be taking on a limited amount of sessions. I will send an email this summer with those Fall openings.
